That may be true. He was appointed as a sop to fans though, the same as Bilic. I don't blame Dicks for taking the job. I'd rather the owners spent more on the substance than the window dressing though.

I've got no problem with him being given a role at the club, but in my opinion he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team. As much as I don't think he qualifies to do that though, he doesn't deserve the vitriol piled on him by some. He was a fantastic player for us and totally stood with the fans on the bond scheme. For that he should have our respect at least.

Not sure how he's to blame here... What I do know is he's struggling to adapt, few stories about certain individuals who've been too tired to train and others that have been found asleep in the gym when they've meant to be doing a double session.

OTB- You being a twat again I see. No we don't see him at work all day, the same as we don't see Mourinho at work all day either, so how do we then judge these coaches since we are not flies on the wall? We judge then on their cv's and past successes and failures. Julian hasn't achieved anything the game since he stopped playing, and since he turned up our full backs have turned to shit, so that's all we have to go by to make our judgments, hence why some are wondering why he is there.
